7 out of 10 top games in Africa are slots, shows 1spin4win & Blask report

At 1spin4win, we teamed up with Blask, an AI-powered iGaming analytics platform, to explore what really shapes game performance across Africa and Latin America. The report also features insights from operators such as BetPawa and MSport, adding further depth to the study.
For this research, we examined key markets, including South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina, and combined data on lobby placement with player demand. This allowed us to see not only what operators feature, but also what players actively seek out.
The results show a clear trend: slots continue to lead across both regions. In Africa, they make up 71% of the Top 30 games in casino lobbies, while in Latin America, they account for 67% of the Top 30 titles analyzed — outperforming both crash and live formats.
At the same time, the data reveals that visibility does not always equal demand. In many cases, the games players search for most are not the ones most prominently featured in lobbies, and some are not present at all.
For 1spin4win, this report reflects our broader expansion strategy across Africa and Latin America. Since 2025, we have been actively growing our presence in these markets, strengthening partnerships with local aggregators and refining our product strategy to better align with regional player preferences. This includes a strong focus on mobile optimization, fast loading times, and stable performance even on weaker internet connections. These efforts are already delivering results. In Africa, we have seen a 9.2x increase in the number of bets.
