Valiantsina Dubavets: tracing 1spin4win’s path to success

In a recent interview with our partners at OC24 Limited, our Marketing Lead, Valiantsina Dubavets, shared insights into 1spin4win’s journey — from our roots in classic fruit slots to our evolution into a dynamic studio known for innovative mechanics, diverse themed portfolios, and bold plans for global expansion. 

We’re excited to interview Valiantsina, Marketing Lead at 1spin4win, who recently became our partner. To start, could you please share a bit about your role?

I joined the 1spin4win team in July 2023, with over four years of experience in the iGaming industry. Since then, I’ve developed our marketing processes and communication strategy, led the studio’s rebranding, and launched a new website to present the company and its products to a broader audience.

My current role involves shaping brand and marketing strategies through various B2B and B2C campaigns. I also represent the studio at key industry events alongside our talented team.

On May 14, 1spin4win turned four — congratulations! How did the team celebrate the occasion? Was there a party?

Thank you so much! We marked the milestone with a three-day in-person event. Since our team is spread across the globe, we also hosted online activities and giveaways on the big day to include everyone.

1spin4win has accomplished a lot since entering the market. But every story has a beginning — could you tell us how it all started?

1spin4win’s journey began in May 2021, when a team of passionate, seasoned slot development professionals came together to launch a new iGaming studio.

From day one, the focus was on the player experience. The team explored various mechanics and tested how audiences responded to classic slots built on advanced math models. Initially, the portfolio featured exclusively fruit games. 

These early titles set the tone for our signature style — minimalistic visuals, limited use of animation and sound effects, and well-balanced gameplay.

The traditional-style games allowed players to win frequently without relying on extreme multipliers like x50,000. 

When I joined the company in 2023, we began evolving our product strategy. We wanted to go beyond fruit slots and dive into themed content, which was the right decision. Today, 1spin4win’s lineup offers a mix of timeless classics and immersive themed games.

Throughout, we’ve maintained our commitment to balanced gameplay over chasing massive multipliers. Our games typically feature a maximum multiplier of up to x5,500 and sustain a high RTP of nearly 97%.

This player-first mindset is even reflected in our company name — 1spin4win — embodying our core belief that sometimes, just one spin is enough to win.

2024 proved to be a strong year for 1spin4win, with the number of bets on your slots surging by 42% compared to 2023. What, in your opinion, are the key drivers behind this success?

Without any doubt, this achievement is the result of the 1spin4win team’s ongoing hard work and dedication. We consistently release four or more new slots monthly, keeping our offering dynamic and engaging. On top of that, in 2024 alone, our team developed 17 new mechanics and significantly expanded the studio’s client base. We also organized network promotions, introduced personalized campaigns, and maintained strong marketing communication with our B2B partners, demonstrating the value of mutually beneficial collaboration.

Earlier this year, we had a chance to meet the 1spin4win team at ICE Barcelona. How often do you attend industry events like that, and what are your main goals when exhibiting at conferences?

At 1spin4win, we regularly attend major iGaming conferences. Industry events allow us to engage with partners and prospective clients, present our studio and game portfolio, and keep pace with the latest industry developments.

Our participation at ICE Barcelona this year perfectly demonstrates how we make the most of these opportunities. We introduced a tradition of showcasing a featured game — this time, Don Catleone Hold and Win. To complement the launch, we designed a special merchandise collection inspired by the game’s main characters, carried out a marketing campaign featuring cat-themed visuals, and integrated game elements throughout our booth design. The campaign received fantastic feedback and was honored with a nomination for “Marketing Campaign of the Year” at the 2025 WiG Diversity Awards.

After ICE Barcelona this winter, our team took part in BiS SiGMA Americas in São Paulo and SBC Summit Americas in Fort Lauderdale. Our next stop is iGB L!VE in London, and later this year, we will be exhibiting at the SBC Summit in Lisbon and SiGMA Central Europe in Rome.

What are 1spin4win’s key development priorities for 2025? We imagine there are ambitious plans ahead — from exciting new games to expanding into new markets and large-scale partnerships. We’d love to hear what’s on the horizon.

This year, we’ve boosted our release schedule to four to six new slots a month. At the same time, we’re actively introducing new mechanics and developing standout projects, including our recent Japanese-themed series, a set of four interconnected games set in medieval Japan.

In addition, 1spin4win continues to support its casino partners with various promotional tools, including Cash & Drops (standard and multiplier-based), branded games, pre-releases, and others.

When it comes to geographic growth, we're excited about returning to the Brazilian market as soon as the certification process is finalized. Before the regulatory updates, we had already introduced our games to local players, and their response was positive. We’re also planning to expand into other Latin American countries and build our presence in several African markets.

At OC24 Limited, we believe demonstrating social responsibility is essential for any modern iGaming company. Recently, the DAR Bjorn Charity Gala took place. It was a truly inspiring event. Could you share where and when the event was held, its purpose, who organized it, and how it went?

This was a charity gala held on May 9 in support of DAR Bjorn, a healthcare center in Malta offering around-the-clock nursing care and specialized treatment for patients with ALS and other severe conditions. The event’s main goal was to raise funds to construct a new respite center for neurological patients.

The gala welcomed over 400 guests from over 10 countries, including members of the local Malta community and top iGaming industry players. To contribute to the initiative, attendees could purchase event tickets, place bids on artwork, and buy special edition “Dream Big. Give Bigger.” merchandise created in partnership with Swag42. Together, these efforts helped raise a total of €200,000 to support the noble cause.
